We handle our babies from birth to have them happy, playful and well socialized to go to their new homes. When adopting from us, our baby ratties must go in same sex pairs. We do not want any accidents. All adopters must be 18 years and older, if you are not 18+ we will need to talk to a Parent/Guardian before adopting to you. When taking your rattie/chinchilla home we don’t get uninvolved. We are always here throughout your rattie/chinchilla's life, for questions and concerns. We also love getting updates and photos of your rattie/chinchilla to add to our happy homes page! No refund will be given! We don't want any of our babies that we adopt out to end up in a shelter or as food for another animal. We do not breed for profit. We do not breed for reptile food, sell to breeders for reptile food, or research of any kind!

Quarantine When adding a rattie to your existing group of rats, it is very important to quarantine your new animals before introducing them to your old ones to prevent the spread of rat diseases (which some are life-long or life-threatening). The new rat should be quarantined in a rat free area for 2-3 weeks. Of course, if your new rats are your only rats, then you don't have to worry about quarantining until you get more (which I know you will)!
If you no longer able care for a rattie/chinchilla that you get from us we would like you to bring it back. We are not being judgemental and know that unexpected things can happen. As long as we are always in touch, we could help you as best we can.
